Missing pieces of you

Synopsis

Derseland, 1855 - 1860

Five years of married life were not enough for Emma Wellinton to learn to love Gilbert Thorton even though he showered her with care and attention. Only a sudden and painful event his death can awaken in her a feeling that deep down perhaps has always been there... Emma then decides to look for meaning in her husband's past, in order to overcome the pain caused by his death. Other characters move around Emma: in particular Susan and Adam who, grown up and matured compared to the first chapter of the Earls of Barrow saga Stay here with me, seem to have crowned their derams of love. In a subtle game between appearance and reality, present and past, the search fort the authentic Gilbert will lead Emma to rediscover herself as well.
